About This Event

As per NBE Directive No. SBB/93/2025, all banks operating in Ethiopia, including domestic banks, foreign bank subsidiaries, and foreign bank branches, are required to prepare a Bank Recovery Plan: a formal and comprehensive framework designed to restore a bank's financial viability and stability in the event of severe stress, crisis, or deterioration, without relying on extraordinary intervention or financial support from the NBE or the government. This course provides the blueprint for mastering Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning and technical risk management, so you can identify critical recovery indicators, lead with confidence, and keep your institution compliant with NBE reporting standards. Resilience is treated as a continuous effort to align employees, processes, and risk values with the mandates of the Directive, rather than a one-time compliance event.
